Alert: Email internet scam using
Catholic United's former name Catholic United Financial has been alerted to the existence of an internet email hoax using the name, or the former name, of our company and the names of past employees. The sender of the email promises millions of dollars in "grants" to the recipients as part of a random lottery supposedly sponsored by our company. Please be advised that this email is a hoax and is possibly part of a malicious fraud to steal from unwitting consumers. For your protection, please delete the email immediately. Do not click on any links in the email and do not attempt any contact with anyone listed in the email. |
